Got a diagnosis and estimate for repair on my vehicle. Decided to call around for other estimates, and they got angry when I found someone charging less than half what they were charging. When the car was picked up, they got rude and made snide remarks. It is my right as a consumer to get estimates and decide which service provider I go with. Not at all professional to get an attitude with someone because they exercised their rights to get other estimates and found someone with much better prices! *Edit to respond* The explanation was not the problem. It was a tune-up. The problem came when you decided to get an attitude when the car was picked up. Snarky remarks are not professional.
Mrs Sweatt, we are sorry that your visit was not satisfactory. We always try to give a detailed explanation of our diagnoses to our customers so we apologize if we failed in doing so. We have no issue in you taking your vehicle to another shop for repairs we just recommended that you get a estimate on the work to be done. We are sorry if this was taken as being rude.
