My parents have been using them as a car service for almost 10 years. When my dad passed I inherited the Lincoln Town car. It hasn't been driven for a while so i brought ot to them. I got an oil change and brakes. I have had the car less than a year and have been back for brake issues 3 times. They put new pads on twice and less than 4 months ago changed the calibers. I was charged each time and the lasttime was over $600.00. Last Thursday my brakes started grinding and the car is not running well. (Today is Monday), I stopped in to see if they would look at it. Michael said I could leave it with them. I told him I couldn't leave it because I have to get back to work. He was very rude to me and made it sound like it was my fault I had to work...i mean they charge enough, i had better work. I asked him if i could drop it off in the morning and he said yes but they are going to have to charge me to figure out the issues. Very dissatisfied and disappointed in being treated with such disrespect. I asked him if he could just listen to it and he said no they were too busy.
Beth, you brought your car in for brake issues which we said we would take care of because they are still under warranty. You also brought your car in for a check engine light and other issues. At the time you brought your vehicle in we had full bays and no mechanics free to check on these issues. We offered to have you leave it and we would give you a ride home so we could work on it when we had time. Because those issues were not under warranty we would need to charge you for that service. We are sorry if we did not communicate this clearly to you. We would be more than happy to discuss this with you, please give us a call at 205-856-3310. Thank you.
