We had two cars with a timing belt issue. I called around after Chalkville completed our first one at $1,100. The first two places I called were 4-5 hundred dollars cheaper in their quotes and one of those was even the dealership. Their quote also included the water pump, the other belts, and a new thermostat as well. Not sure why Chalkville was so much more expensive, but we'll find another option in the future. At least, we'll make sure to call around first.
After reading your review I didn't notice mention of the brakes that were done with rotor replacement and we did replace all the components you listed . We also did a oil change . There was also no work done without prior approval from you . These extra repairs done would explain the cost difference.
